8+ Years of Architectural Experience

My introduction and relationship to architecture has always been one of an unpretentious nature.

Fascinated by the built environment from an early age, the ability of beautiful architecture to promote social and spiritual upliftment captured me.

The coloured community in which I was raised is rich in culture and the social interaction is largely shaped by its disadvantaged architectural norms. This has been the foundation to my architectural experience. Visiting family in cosmopolitan European and American cities fed my passionate architectural interests.

My mission is to make good design and architecture accessible to all. Pursuing architecture that is free from the dramatics of elitist culture yet contested on merit. Truth to materials and spatial quality are important entities in discovering my architectural identity.

The works of William McDonough, Glen Murcutt, and Peter Rich, amongst others inspire and nourish this appetite. Their use of materials, form making and spatial concepts evoke emotion, encouraging responsible and sustainable architecture.
